Inacio: The end is near

CAIRO – 26 July 2017: Augusto Inacio, Zamalek S.C. head coach, spoke to the press before Zamalek’s game with Al Ahed S.C. in the Arab Club Championship on Wednesday, July 26.

Inacio and Zamalek S.C. President Mortada Mansour recently have been at odds recently in dealings with the press. Inacio criticized Zamalek’s officials in Zamalek’s pre-match press conference on July 25. Mansour went to the media later that night condemning Inacio’s statements.

Talking to reporters on July 26, Inacio said, “The end is near. I don’t mind sitting with Zamalek’s president Mortada Mansour in order to discuss Zamalek football team’s recent issues. I don’t lie while speaking to the media.”

Inacio refused to answer whether he means that the end of all the problems he has with Zamalek’s officials is near or whether he will depart the club soon. However, it is clear that Zamalek’s coach isn’t satisfied with the current atmosphere around Zamalek’s football team.
