President Abdel Fattah al Sisi witnesses the opening of the Arab Military Equestrian Championship

The tournament will take place from the 24th to the 27th of April at the Equestrian Club in the Egypt Olympic Games City in the New Administrative Capital.

 

 11 Arab countries are participating in the tournament: (Egypt - Libya - Qatar - Algeria - Kuwait - Tunisia - Syria - Iraq - Saudi Arabia - Jordan - UAE).

 

 

 Many national entities and companies were keen to confirm their participation as sponsors of the tournament, and the tournament comes within the framework of the efforts of the Egyptian Armed Forces to strengthen military and cultural ties between Arab countries and exchange experiences in various sports, which contributes to consolidating the bonds of relations and cooperation between the Arab armies. 

 

The Armed Forces are also keen to consolidate  Equestrian sports in Egyptian stadiums, as the Egyptian state now enjoys all the advanced structural components and veterinary interest in Egyptian horses in accordance with international standards and specifications for that sport.
