Al-Ahly kit (red), Al-Faisaly (Blue) – Arab Club Championship
CAIRO – 22 July 2017: Al-Ahly SC is set to kick off their first match of the Arab Club Championship against Jordan’s Al-Faisaly SC, on Saturday at 9:15 pm at Al-Salam Stadium in Egypt.
During this Arab Club Championship Ahly plans to allow players with less game time in the season the opportunity to play more in the tournament. They also hope to be crowned the Arab Club Champions.
Assistant coach Ahmed Ayoub is set to coach in place of the vacationing coach Hossam El-Badry. Ahmed Ayoub will begin the match with a 4-2-3-1 formation consisting of the following players:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El Shenawy
Defenders: Mohamed Han (Right Back), Ramy Rebea and Mohamed Naguib as two center backs, Sabri Raheel (Left Back)
Midfielders: Amr Al Sulaya and Akram Tawfik
Attacking Midfielders: Mido Gaber (Right), Amr Barakat (Middle), Karim Nedved (Left)
Striker: Amr Gamal
The tournament will be played in Egypt from July 22 through August 5.
