CAIRO-19 August 2021: Mohamed Salah is still running down the wing of the Premier League football cathedrals in his fifth year in the red jersey of Liverpool.

The Egyptian winger has a strong start to the league season with one goal and two assists at Carrow Road Stadium in Norwich, giving a clear message that he is ready for another staggering season in England.

Salah will step in his first game at home this season against Burnley with an individual target as he has a chance to reach the 100th goal mark in the Premier League.

Salah scored 98 goals in the biggest league in the world, two goals in the blue jersey of Chelsea and the other 96 goals while defending Liverpool badge. Salah needs to score two more goals to become the 30th player in the League's history to reach that feat.

Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and Steven Gerrard are the only players from Liverpool who established their names in the 100-goal club while playing for Liverpool and Salah hopes to be the fourth to do so.

Didier Drogba is the only African player in the 100-goal club and the Egyptian winger hopes to be the second. Drogba could also be dethroned from his record as the African player with the most Premier League goals if Salah managed to score seven more goals in the league campaign.
