Rescue for Survival Workshop

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt - 15 July 2017 : An educational camping event is to take place at Wadi Degla on self-rescue in extreme conditions with hands-on techniques.

Participants will learn how to rescue themselves, as well as how to locate others accompanying them if lost.

The event is for free, but bring your camping set. Make sure you are equipped with equipment for very hot weather. Never underestimate the importance of learning safety techniques in desert camping.

A nine-kilometer hike is also expected, so make sure you are ready for this.

The event will take place at nature reserve Wadi Degla in Cairo on August 11. A change in place may occur, but the date is fixed.
