CAIRO - 28 April 2019: Comedian Talaat Zakaria continues to film his scenes in the film "Ba’ad el Khamis” (After Thursday) in Abu Dhabi. It is the first Saudi-Emirati-Egyptian film to be filmed in the UAE.

The film’s cast include stars from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. It is directed by Saudi director Haidar Samir al-Nasser.

The idea of the film revolves around two spoiled brothers who live in great luxury due to the richness of their father. Suddenly their father passes away, placing his entire wealth under the supervision of his brother, and made him guardian over his sons, turning the course of events into a social comedy.

The Saudi director stated that the film is a social comedy, that highlights customs and traditions, stressing that the film is dedicated to new generations , and will be executed in a new and contemporary way; promising a cinematic production that will take the Arabian Gulf cinema to global international competitions.

The film features a selection of Arab comedians, including Talaat Zakaria from Egypt, Abdallah al-Jemeiry, Milla al-Zahrany and Mohamed Hashim from KSA, Mansour al-Faily, Bilal Abdullah, Ali Tamimi and Jihan Anwar from the UAE, Dalida Khalil from Lebanon and last but not least Bassam Ali from Syria.
