CAIRO – 15 December 2018: Netflix recently revealed some details about the new season of the science fiction series “Stranger Things 3”scheduled to be broad casted on the network in summer 2019.

“It’ll be an eight or nine-episode season,” executive producer Shawn Levy told Glamour magazine in Oct. 2017. “The number of episodes will be dictated by the amount of story that excites us. We now know what is going to happen in season three to every character,” he added.

The titles of those eight episodes have now been revealed in a new trailer that shows off the new title sequence:

The series was set to be launched in Dec. 2018, but it got postponed. Cindy Holland, Netflix’s VP for original content, explained that the delay has been due to the nature of the series being “hand crafted”.

“They want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. They really want to take the time to get it right,”explained Holland.

Netflix confirmed that “Stranger Things 3” will be broad casted in summer 2019. The streaming service made the announcement during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour in Beverly Hills on July 29, 2018.

The series takes place in the American village of Hawkins, Wisconsin, in a government laboratory. After experimenting on humans and paranormal beings, the town gets exposed to numerous supernatural events.
