Elissa continues to combat breast cancer

CAIRO – 4 October 2018: Post her recovery from breast cancer, Lebanese singer Elissa is determined to continue her battle against the deadly disease.

The singer decided to be part of the awareness campaigns in Lebanon, aiming to spread knowledge about the prevention and early detection of the disease.

The Lebanese singer appeared in a video with Lebanese Minister of Health, Ghassan Hasbani, asking local ladies to head to the free medical campaigns organized by the ministry, in an initiative to combat the spread of the disease.

The free medical campaigns will run on Oct. 13 and 14, 2018.

Assi el-Hallani decided to be the first supporter of the minister’s initiative; he tweeted “I, Assi el-Hallani, stand in solidarity with my colleague Elissa and my dear friend minister of health, hoping that the road we walk together will be a happy one.”

It is worth noting that Elissa shocked her fans by exposing she had cancer, and illustrated her agony in a video clip that went viral on social media platforms and TV channels.
