CAIRO-23 April 2017: Egyptian renowned singer Tamer Hosny arrived Sunday in the U.S. to attend the final session in court for the lawsuit he filed against American artist Akon on Sunday, an informed source told Egypt today in exclusive comments.

Hosny told Egypt today that he had to attend the final session in order to prove his rights, and he will stay there for four days.

Hosny filed the lawsuit against Akon in 2014 as he paid $300,000 for Akon to be responsible for his deal with rapper Pitbull. He was supposed to appear in the “Arabian Knight” music video, but Akon took all the money for himself and Pitbull did not show up.

Tamer claimed Akon promised to deliver Pitbull for the shoot and, therefore, he is to blame for his absence. He also mentioned it is problematic because he had to pay $100,000 in vain for cameras and crew the day of the shoot, according to the American entertainment website Tmz.
