CAIRO – 7 January 2018: Egyptian actor Mohammed Abdallah starts a mime workshop at Osiris, The Independent Arts Council for Production And Training, Tuesday, January 23.
According to the official event’s description, the event aims to give the attendees basic skills of the silent acting, inform them briefly about the history of “Pantomime”, and how to create an entire theatrical performance that depends on Pantomime.

Pantomime is a theatrical entertainment, mainly for children, which involves music, topical jokes, and slapstick comedy, and is based on a fairy tale or nursery story, usually produced around Christmas. Pantomime depents on gestures without any vibrant performance.

Mohammed Abdallah is an Egyptian theatrical actor and director. When he was 14 years old, Abdallah started practicing ‘Pantomime”. He participated in several national and international festivals in which he received prizes. He was the best Egyptian Pantomime actor for three years and the second in the Middle East.
Abdallah has directed more than 18 pantomime performances.
