Trailer for ‘Ocean’s 8’ released

CAIRO – 20 December 2017: The trailer for the upcoming all-female Ocean’s Eleven spin-off, “Ocean’s 8” has been released.



Starring Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina and more, the film is a sequel and spin-off to the 2001 crime caper “Ocean’s Eleven”, which spawned two sequels. All three films grossed over $1 billion at the global box office.

Directed by Gary Ross, the plot of the film involves Bullock’s character, Debbie Ocean, sister to the first trilogy’s titular Danny Ocean who decides to plan a heist, stealing a valuable necklace at New York City’s Met Gala. She gathers eight talented women to carry out the robbery.

“Ocean’s 8” will be directed by Gary Ross and released on June 8, 2018.
