CAIRO – 5 April 2017: The Indian Embassy in Egypt launched a campaign Wednesday at an underground metro station code-named “India is Wonderland,”

el-Shorouk newspaper reported

The embassy celebrated the event Sadat Station, a major stop where Metro lines 1 and 2 meet. The celebration showed traditional photos of Indian civilization and tourist sites, and a short traditional Indian dance was performed inside the station.

Indian Ambassador to Egypt Sanjay Bhattacharyya and head of the Cairo Metro company Ali Fadali attended the ceremony.
