Documentary “In Praise of Nothing” to screen in Cairo

CAIRO – 6 November 2017: The documentary film “In Praise of Nothing” will screen as part of the 10th Panorama for European Film on Wednesday, Friday, and Monday of this week, as well as November 18.

Directed by Boris Mitic and starring Iggy Pop, “In Praise of Nothing” examines a wide brainstorming process for unknown different persons in a satirical style and childish verse.

Various professional cinematographers participated in the film’s production.

Released in 2017, the documentary was a collaboration work between Germany, Serbia, and Croatia. It participated in many festivals such as the Sarajevo Film Festival, and Locarno Festival.

The 10th Panorama of the European Film

will run between November 8 and November 18. This edition will witness an expansion in film screenings in more governorates such as Port Said, Ismailia, and Mansoura among others.
