Amir Salah undertakes initiative to encourage talents in Minya

CAIRO – 4 September 2017: New initiative in Minya called ‘Minya is Breathing’, was launched in efforts to further develop artists in Minya. It is led by artist and founder of Black Theama band, Amir Salah, and is expected to close application doors for artistic projects on September 20.

The initiative will launch at Dawar El Fenoon encouraging all artists in upper Egypt to participate through recording a one-to-three-minute music video that can be recorded in Dawar El Fenoon’s studio and using the studio’s instruments.

Salah will be evaluating applicants through the next phase of the initiative and helping participants develop their outputs. He will also be certifying the most suitable voices and allowing them to partake in live performances at Dawar El Fenoon.

Other applicants who have not been selected in the winning phase, will be allowed to participate in upcoming music workshops through paying half its price.
