Modern jazz Eclectic Quartet to perform at 3elbet Alwan

CAIRO – 23 August 2017: Modern jazz band, Eclectic Quartet, will perform at culture venue 3elbet Alwan on Wednesday.

Influenced by rich modern jazz harmonies, Eclectic Quartet is known for playing original compositions and melodies derived from diversity of sources, according to the official Facebook page.

The band comprises of Rashad Fahim on keyboard, Hazem Abdel Kader on drums, Teddy Fahmy on electric bass, and Shady Al Qasser on saxophone.

Al Qasser is a well known composer who has collaborated with several prominent musicians in efforts to lead the music scene in Egypt and keep jazz alive.

He will be participating in a joint performance with established jazz pianist from Denmark called Carl Winther who is well-known internationally and has won the 32nd Getxo Jazz Competition with his own trio.
