CAIRO – 19 August 2017: The book signing and seminar for the novel Mesk Al Tal will be held at Dawar on August 22. The novel is written by Sahar El Mougy and published this year.

In her novel Mougy discusses man-woman relationships in three different ages. She uses her contemporary character Maryam, a re-produced character of Catherin Earnshaw, the heroin of Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë and Amina who is the famous female character of Naguib Mahfouz’s Trilogy.

Human conflict, gender issues, human psychology and social phenomena are the themes of Mougy’s new novel.

Mesk Al Tal is Mougy’s fifth published literary work. The event will include a seminar with the writer to discuss and criticize her book.

This event is a part of the Dou" cultural association book nights. It has already organized many reading nights since 2014.
