CAIRO - 28 July 2017: Minister of Antiquities Khalid Al Anany met with newly appointed Chinese Cultural Counselor in Cairo Shi Yuewen to discuss cooperation between both countries.

They mulled new aspects of cooperation between Egypt and China in the field of museums and archaeological work in the coming period.

The possibility of holding training courses between the two countries for different museums in an attempt to benefit from the experiences of both China and Egypt in this field was also probed.

The Chinese cultural counselor expressed China's desire to temporarily host Egyptian antiquities exhibitions in the coming period.

He stressed that cooperation with Egypt will benefit China, as Egypt enjoys a rich experience in this field.
