The 8th edition of Aswan International Women Film Festival ( AIWFF) kicked off on April 20.
 
 
 
 
This year AIWFF honored acclaimed stars Ghada Adel and Hend Sabry.

The festival honored as well film editor Mona El Sabban, Aswan’s Deputy Governor Dr. Ghada Abu Zeid, Egyptian Screenwriter and Director Hala Khalil and Tunisian Ambassador Mohamed ben Youssef.
 
 
 
For the third year in a row, the Women and Life Symposium brings together an exceptional selection of participating artists from the Arab and International world to the eighth edition of AIWFF.
 
 
A fine selection of nominations for this year’s Egyptian Film Competition including “Flight 404” by Hany Khalifa, “Maqsoum” by Kawthar Younis, “The Eid Night” by Sameh Abd Al-Aziz and “Memoires of M. A. Draz” by Maggie Morgan.
 
 
 
 
The jury of the Egyptian Film Competition this year with none other than Rania Youssef, Mohammed Chouika and Jury President acclaimed director Rashid Masharawi.
