Grand Imam Ahmed El-Tayeb, Discussed With UMS CEO Amr El Feki, UMS Head of Programs Sector Ahmed Fayek & CEO of Operations Hossam Saleh, Ways of Cooperation between Al-Azhar &UMS

 

His Eminence Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders has met with CEO of United Media Services ( UMS) Amr El Feki, Head of the Programs Sector of United Media Services Ahmed Fayek and CEO of Operations at the United Media Services Hossam Saleh in the Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, where the meeting revolved around the joint cooperation between Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and the media represented by UMS top officials.

 

 

During the meeting it was agreed to broadcast Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque on Channel One.

 

 

The Grand Imam will present a Ramadan program about the 99 Names of Allah, which will be broadcast on United Media Services channels, and Al-Azhar Forum for Thought will be broadcast on Al-Nas channel daily during Ramadan.

 

 

His Eminence the Grand Imam directed the necessity of developing cooperation between the Sheikhdom of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and United Media Services in conveying moderate religious messages presented by the Sheikhs and scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in all the media outlets, from television to radio, the press and podcasts.

 

 

 

Amr El Feki stressed the presence of a distinctive TV programs map during Ramadan on all United Media Services channels, which includes 50 programs presented by Al-Azhar scholars and young preachers.

 

El Feki praised the cooperation that takes place between Al-Nas Channel and Al-Azhar Observatory in terms of content.
