Some international celebrities showed their support to Palestine at the Grammy Awards 2024.

After singing “Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinéad O'Connor, she called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The Grammys Awards 2024 took place on Sunday night.

Phoebe Bridgers received the lion share of awards with four trophies, three of them with her band Boygeneius.

SZA, Boygeneius, Killer Mike, Victoria Monét and songs from the “Barbie” soundtrack followed, each received three awards.

Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift each received two trophies but Swift made history becoming the first artist to earn four album of the year prizes.

After her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis, the one and only Celine Dion made a surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards ceremony to present the album of the year award.

The Grammys audience stood up to cheer Dion on and sing along to her song “The Power of Love".

“When I say that I’m happy to be here, I really mean it from my heart. Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world" Dion said.

Dion explained that she was on the Grammys stage to present an award that was given to her 27 years ago by two legends who are Diana Ross and Sting.
