Renowned Actor Andre Braugher Dies at 61

 
 
Braugher was best known for playing stoic police officer in the two acclaimed television series “Homicide” and 
“Brooklyn Nine-Nine”.
 
 
He died on Monday after a brief illness.
 
 
Braugher had a number of successful roles under his belt in movies and series.
 
He made a stunning debut as a sensitive soldier in the 1989 film “Glory,” about a unit of Black soldiers during the Civil War.
