United Media Services mourned with great sadness the death of great artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafour.
 
 
UMS and all its employees in its TV channels, publications and companies extend their sincere condolences to the family of the great artist, praying to God to grant him his vast mercy and grants his family the patience and solace.
 
 
The veteran Egyptian artist died of a car accident on Sunday. 
 
 
Abdel Ghafour was born on June 22, 1942.
 
He was graduated from the High Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1963.
 
 
Abdel Ghafour partcipated in a number of plays including "Lady Gulfidan" , "Soliman El Halaby", "Three Nights",  "The Dead Without Graves", " Guevara's Death", " My Homeland Acre" and "The Fire and the Olives" among others.

The late great Egyptian artist performed in more than 250 series over six decades.

His debut TV series was " Al Kahera W El Nas" (Cairo and the People) in 1967.

Abdel Ghafour recently performed in a number of successful series including "El Ser" ( The Secret), "Rasheed", "Hai El-Sayeda Zeinab" and "Bent El-Qabayel".
