CAIRO – 20 July 2017: The ninth edition of Abu Dhabi Art has announced the participating galleries for the 2017 event, which features 45 galleries across 18 countries and will run from November 8 to 11. The number is higher than the last year's 36 galleries, thanks to the new director Dyala Nusseibeh.

Several of the countries that will be participating with their upcoming artistic talents are Beirut, Beijing, Paris, Istanbul, New York and Salzburg. This showcases the wide diversity of skills and styles present at Abu Dhabi Art.

The gallery has added a new category known as Solo Projects, which allows galleries to highlight pieces from a single artist, giving them their own focus.

Egyptian artist Chant Avedissian, famous for his portraits of influential Egyptians such as Umm Kulthum, will be featured during Solo Projects by the Sabrina Amrani Gallery. Iraqi artist Dia Azzawi, considered a pioneer of modern Arab art will be featured by the Meem Gallery.

Abu Dhabi Art will be running at Manarat Al Saadiyat.
