Eid al-Adha is witnessing the screening of number of Egyptian movies that will make the competition extremely a tough one. Four Egyptian films are competing for Eid al-Adha season, after Abo Nassab and Ala El Zero movies went out of the race.
Egypt Today will give you an overview about these movies.
1-El Bo’bo'
A pharmacist ( Yasmine Sabry) falls in love with a criminal named Sultan ( Amir Karara) who decides to repent and quit the crime path. During the movie Sultan and his friend Sokka ( Mohamed Abdelrahman) will face many situations that will turn the movie events upside down.
The movie stars Amir Karara, Yasmine Sabry, Mohamed Abdelrahman, Bassem Samra, Mohamed Mahmoud among others. El Bo’bo’ is written by Ehab Belibal and directed by Hussein Elmenbawy.
2-Mr.X
Mr.X witnesses the first cinematic collaboration between the power couple Ahmed Fahmy and Hannah El Zahed. The romcom highlights a love story between the boss of a gang ( Ahmed Fahmy) , and a lawyer ( Hannah El Zahed) and how he tries throughout the movie incidents to protect her from all the risks that surround his work. The movie stars Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Anwar, Mohamed Osama ( Osos), Rehab El Gamal, Mahmoud Hafez among others. Mr.X is written by Ahmed Abdel Wahab and Amgad Elsharkawy and directed by Ahmed Abdel Wahab.
3-Tag
Tag movie revolves around the twins Tag and Haroun, who face many hardships because of their supernatural powers. The movie stars Tamer Hosny, Dina El Sherbiny, Sandy, Hala Fakher among others. Tag is written by Tamer Hosny and directed by Sara Wafik.
4-Beit El Rouby
Ibrahim El Rouby ( Karim Abdel Aziz) lives in a touristic village far from Cairo with his wife and their two kids. Ibrahim will be forced to return to Cairo due to a request from his brother (Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz) as a result the two brothers will face a number of funny problems during the events of the film. Beit El Rouhy stars Karim Abdelaziz, Karim Mahmoud Abdelaziz, Nour, Tara Emad, Hatem Salah, Sherif El Dessouky among others. The movie is written by Reem El Kamash and Mohamed El Dabah and directed by Peter Mimi.
5-Indiana Jones & The Dial of Destiny
Daredevil archaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary dial that can change the course of history. Indiana Jones & The Dial of Destiny stars Harrison Ford, Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge , written by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman and directed by James Mangold.
