Yeoh: ‘This is proof to dream big, dreams do come true, ladies don't let anyone ever tell you you're past your prime’

 

Michelle Yeoh took home the Best Actress Academy Award for her portrayal as multiversal mama Evelyn Wang in “Everything Everywhere All At Once” movie.

 

 

“For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibility. This is proof to dream big and that dreams do come true, and ladies, don't let anyone ever tell you you're past your prime,” she started her acceptance speech to thundering applause.

 

 

 

 

Yeoh added in her acceptance speech: “ I dedicate this to my mom, to all the moms in the world, because they are the superheroes, and without them, none of us would be here tonight.”
