Amal Al-Agroobi joins London fire fundraising

CAIRO – 7 July 2017: Amal Al-Agroobi an Emirati documentary filmmaker, director, producer and writer started to collect funds for Grenfell Tower tragedy victims, according to The National.

Al-Agroobi cooperated with a group of writers, artists and filmmakers in raising the needed funds.

Moreover, Al-Agroobi and a group of stars dedicated their time and possessions, organising a charity auction to gather money for the British Red Cross London Fire Relief Fund.

“Basically this charity auction was held on June 29, by a group of authors and directors – David Walliams, Philip Pullman, Edgar Wright etc. Just offering their time, knowledge, opportunities or signed copies of their books or films and so on to the general public," said Al-Agroobi.
