 CAIRO - 5 April 2021: Dr. Khaled El Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Mrs. Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, and her accompanying delegation visited Aswan, as a part of her current visit to Egypt at the invitation of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities to attend The Pharaohs’ Golden Parade, held the day before yesterday.
 
 They were joined by Dr. Mostafa Waziry, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Mr. Abdel Moneim Saeed, Director General of Aswan Antiquities.
 
 During the visit, they toured the Philae Temple, the Nubia Museum, and the old market, where they saw the development work that was done there , and l met owners of the tourist bazaars.
 
Since her arrival to Egypt, the Director-General of UNESCO visited, a number of archaeological and tourist sites, including Historic Cairo, the Giza pyramids, Saqqara antiquities area, Qaitbay Citadel and the Morsi Abu al-Abbas area in Alexandria.
