Emaar Misr agrees to donate LE 90M to "Tahya Misr Fund"

CAIRO – 31 January 2021: The Board of Directors of Emaar Misr for Development agreed to donate LE 60 million to Tahya Misr Fund to carry out renovation and building works for schools and homes, in addition to developing infrastructure and basic services in Sidi Abdel Rahman.

 

The company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), Sunday, that the board agreed to participate in the initiative of the President of the Republic to import the Corona virus vaccine, by making a donation to Tahya Misr Fund worth LE 30 million.

 

During the first 9 months of this year, the company achieved a net profit of LE 1.02 billion since the beginning of January until the end of last September, compared to LE 628.99 million during the same period last year, taking into account the rights of the minority.

 

The company's revenues declined marginally during the nine months to record LE 2.27 billion at the end of September, compared to LE 2.34 billion during the same period last year.

 

As for standalone results, the company's profits increased during the period from January to September to record LE 1.02 billion, compared to LE 628.99 million during the same period last year.
