Egypt, Lebanon strike $3M contract on exporting clothes

CAIRO - 2 July 2017: Egypt and Lebanon struck a $3 million contract under which Egypt will export ready-made clothes to Lebanon, the UAE and a number of western African states, Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Qabil said.

A Lebanese fashion design company will depend on Egypt in manufacturing clothes which will be sold in Lebanon, the UAE and a number of western African states, the Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

Qabil said the Ministry is keen on enhancing cooperation between Egypt and Lebanon, especially in the trade and investment domains.
