CBE: Egypt's exports hit $5.1B in 2016/2017 Q2

CAIRO - 26 June 2017: Egypt's exports hit 5.1 billion dollars in the second quarter of 2016/2017 fiscal year up from 4.3 billion dollars over the same period in the previous year, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said on Sunday.

In its report, the CBE said Egypt's exports to the European and Arab countries amounted to $1.5 billion and $1.7 billion respectively in the last quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The US imported products from Egypt reached 356.6 million dollars in the same period, the statement added.
