CAIRO - 16 June 2020: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said the volume of liquidity hit LE 4.276 trillion by the end of March.

In a report issued Monday, the CBE attributed the rise in local liquidity to the increase of net local assets and the drop in foreign assets at the banking body.

The net local assets at the banking sector rose by LE 584.6 billion, while the net foreign assets decreased by LE 171.5 billion.
