EGX ends on mixed note for 3rd day, benchmark down 0.2%

CAIRO – 15 June 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes shut Thursday on a mixed performance for a third straight session amid sideways trading.

The benchmark index EGX30 declined 0.17 percent, ending at 13,479 points.

On the other hand, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 was up 0.19 percent to hit 620 points at close. Further, the all-embracing EGX100 index also rose 0.6 percent to close near to 1,460 points.

Market capitalization added around LE 1.3 billion ($71.82 million) totaling LE 685.4 billion. The market turnover amounted to LE 1.2 billion and foreign traders were the sole net sellers.
