Bourse indexes show mixed performance

CAIRO - 30 April 2018: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes showed mixed performance at the close of trading on Monday amid selling operations by Egyptian institutions and investment funds and purchases by Arab and foreign investors.

The market capital reached 1.006 trillion pounds, amid transactions that hit about 1.9 billion pounds.

The EGX 30 benchmark index went down by 0.05% to close at 18,295.57 points.

The broader EGX 70 index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) increased by 0.47% to 877.19 points.

The all-embracing EGX 100 index rose by 0.51 percent to stand at 2,306.76 points.
