CAIRO - 28 March 2018: Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Kabil said Egypt is looking forward to realizing more integration among African states, especially after the recent launch of the African continent free trade area.

In a statement on Wednesday, the minister said his ministry finalized last year an all-out strategy for boosting Egyptian exports to African states in the coming three years.

He noted that the Egyptian-Somali relations are developing, especially in the trade and economic domains.

He said exchanging trade teams' visits played a key role in increasing Egyptian exports to Somalia during 2017 to about $90 million against $53 million in 2016.
