Hussein el-Refaie appointed as Suez Canal Bank’s new president

CAIRO – 2 May 2017: Suez Canal's General Assembly appointed Hussein el-Refaie as the bank's new president, succeeding Tarek Qandil, whose term has expired in April.

Refaie was an executive member of the National Bank (NBE) Board of Directors and also assumed the position of NBE’s financial group chairman since 2008.

Suez Canal Bank’s new board will include Mohab Mamish as a representative of the staff of the Suez Canal Authority, along with representatives of the employees of the Arab Contractors company, the Arab International Bank and the Libyan Foreign Bank.
