CAIRO - 9 February 2008: President of the African Development Bank (ADP), Akinwumi Adesina arrived in Cairo leading a delegation to take part in the activities of the 3rd Africa forum on Science, Technology and Innovation.

Held under the auspice of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the forum will be organized by the Higher Education University in cooperation with ADP on February 10-12.

Up to 35 higher education ministers from Africa, representatives from public and private sectors, scientists, experts, and youth along with development partners will partake in the event.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel Ghaffar had said before that the forum aimed at boosting investments in the scientific domains and maximize the benefits of the resources in Africa.
