CAIRO – 27 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Wednesday in red, with the three main indexes down.

Benchmark EGX30 leveled down 0.12 percent to stand at 14,904 points. The small and mid-cap index EGX70 decreased 0.01 percent to end at 826.31 points, while the broader index EGX100 declined 0.02 percent to close at 1961.26 points.

Market capitalization gained LE 16.82 billion, as it recorded LE 823.798 billion, up from LE 806.976 billion at the end of transactions on Tuesday.

Egyptian individuals and Egyptian institutions were net sellers at LE 40.083 million and LE 17. 61 million, respectively, while Arab individuals and foreign individuals as well as Arab organizations and foreign organizations were net buyers at LE 106.59 million, LE 3.09 million, LE 55.72 million and LE 138,87 million, respectively.

Shares of 64 companies recorded increases, while 102 others saw declines, and shares of 21 firms remained unchanged.
