CAIRO – 24 December 2017: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended its transactions Sunday in mixed note, with benchmark EGX30 being the only index that went up 0.83 percent to stand at 14,790 points.

The small and mid-cap index EGX70 decreased 0.89 percent to end at 818 points and the broader index EGX100 also leveled down 0.38 percent to close at 1936 points.

Market capitalization lost LE 1.66 billion as it recorded LE 813,811 billion, down from LE 815,469 billion at the end of transactions on Thursday.

Egyptian and foreign individuals as well as foreign organizations were net sellers at LE 19.6 million, LE 2.5 million and LE 6.7 million respectively while Arab individuals as well as Egyptian and Arab institutions were net buyers at LE 3.3 million, LE 23.6 million, LE 1.9 million respectively.

Shares of 67 companies recorded increases, while 81 others saw declines, while, shares of 27 firms remained unchanged.
