CAIRO – 15 November 2017: Egypt’s unemployment rate dropped to 11.9 percent in the third quarter of 2017 from 12.6 percent a year earlier, state statistics agency CAPMAS said on Wednesday.

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has pledged to reduce joblessness to 10 percent over the next few years, a target that will require higher levels of economic growth.
