CAIRO – 28 October 2017: Trade Minister Tarek Kabil inaugurated on Saturday a technical training complex in Suez governorate as part of his field visit to Ain Sokhna and Suez to inaugurate and inspect a number of projects, according to a statement from the ministry.

Built over 2,700 square meters, the new complex includes a large number of classrooms and workshops that will be dedicated to 10 main crafts.

The complex will receive 600 students, who will be trained over three years and apply what they learned practically in industrial companies in Suez.

Kabil said that his ministry is prioritizing technical training as it will enhance the industrial development and increase the competitiveness of local industry domestically and internationally.

He added that technical training is a main pillar to boost production and it will help improve work conditions and achieve high production levels.

The minister further said that the ministry is supporting the participation of the private sector in administrating the technical training system in Egypt.
