CAIRO – 16 August 2017: The U.S. dollar exchange rate stabilized in Wednesday’s morning banking transactions.

The exchange rate of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for the U.S. dollar remained stable at LE 17.71 for buying and LE 17.81 for selling.

The euro exchange rate continued fluctuations to register LE 20.74 for buying and LE 20.86 for selling, compared to LE 20.89 for buying and LE 21.061 for selling Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the GBP (British Pound) declined to LE 22.77 for buying and LE 22.90 for selling, down from LE 22.98 for buying and LE 23.11 for selling in the prior day.

As for the Arab currencies, the Saudi Riyal stabilized at LE 4.724 for buying and LE 4.750 for selling, according to the CBE.

Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti dinar recorded LE 58.61 for buying and LE 59.07 for selling and the Emirati Dirham registered LE 4.823 for selling and LE 4.851 for buying.
