CAIRO - 27 February 2024: The Golden Triangle is a national project within Egypt's Vision 2030 aimed at establishing an integrated developmental community that includes agricultural, industrial, and tourist projects, as well as infrastructure, according to the Vice Chairman Golden Triangle Economic Zone (GTEZ), Mohamed Aboulghait.

Aboulghait emphasized that all projects in the Golden Triangle region are based on the principles of sustainability and commitment to green practices.

He explained that the project covers an area of approximately two million feddans and is located in the Red Sea, about 80 kilometers from the sea off the city of Safaga to Al-Qusair.

He noted that an Italian company has planned the region for development.

“The authority is currently in the stage of implementing the laid-out plan and establishing the entity until it reaches the promotion stage,” he added.

Aboulghait indicated that they have already started this stage, receiving applications and initiating pricing for delivery to investors.

He stated that the project offers incentives, customs and tax exemptions, and flexibility in the pricing process.

Aboulghait , during the annual summit of capital markets, added that the Golden Triangle region has been divided into industrial zones, aiming to provide investment opportunities for small and medium industries.

He pointed out that small and medium-sized projects are among the state's current priorities.

The eighth annual summit of Capital Markets took place on Monday under the title "Structural Reforms - Sustaining Development."

The summit was held under the auspices of the Ministries of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, to discuss the structural reforms conducted by the Egyptian state across all economic sectors with the aim of creating sustainable development.
