CAIRO - 11 November 2023: The African Automotive Forum commenced at the third edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair, IATF2023.

The forum is scheduled for two days, on November 11 and 12.

Led by the African Association of Automotive Manufacturers (AAAM), the Automotive Forum addresses key issues impacting Africa's automotive sector. The program features presentations from global automotive leaders, including multinational OEMs, with the participation of several Heads of State.

The forum aims to foster cooperation and the development of regional auto supply chains for auto manufacturing on the continent. It also strives to facilitate unprecedented networking opportunities among Africa's key stakeholders and international partners.

Simultaneously, the African Automotive show has been underway since the commencement of IATF2023. It serves as a convergence point for Africa's automotive leaders, policymakers, buyers, and international partners. The show presents a unique opportunity for brand building, sales, and partnerships.

The IATF2023, in its third edition, provides a platform for businesses to access an integrated African market of over 1.3 billion people, boasting a GDP of over $3.5 trillion, created under the African Continental Free Trade Area, as stated by the African Union.
