CAIRO - 13 August 2023: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has organized a promotional event in the New Alamein City on the North Coast to raise awareness about the stock exchange business and its investment opportunities.
The event featured a panel discussion during which EGX Chairman Rami Al-Dakani gave an overview of the role played by general and specialized investment funds in the stock exchange system, EGX said in a press release on Saturday.
Participants have also discussed the latest trends of investment funds in Egypt, such as the country’s first gold investment fund and its potential for luring many investors since it had been launched in mid-May.
This year, EGX’s schedule of events in the North Coast includes some special events targeting various business and economic sectors, in addition to a number of events tackling stock exchange investment fundamentals, green finance products, financial instruments for sustainability and climate change, entrepreneurship, and fintech projects.
