Egypt succeeds in decreasing trade balance deficit

CAIRO - 20 December 2022: Egypt has succeeded in achieving a noticeable decrease in the deficit of the trade balance during the first nine months of 2022 despite the increase in the value of imports.
 
The trade balance deficit decreased to $33.5 billion in the first nine months of 2022 in comparison to $34.9 billion during the same period in 2021 with a 4 percent decrease.
 
Also, there was a leap in the Egyptian exports with a percent of 26.6 during the first nine months of 2022 recording $38.7 billion.
