CBE governor takes part in Abu Dhabi meetings

CAIRO - 9 July 2017: Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Tarek Amer took part in the annual meeting of the permanent office of the council of Arab central banks governors and Arab monetary institutions that was held in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

A statement by the council, a copy of which obtained by MENA, said the meeting, chaired by Governor of Moroccan central bank Abdel Latif al Jouahri, reviewed the agenda of the council and discussed a number of monetary reports on banking monitoring, financial inclusion and monetary stability in Arab countries.

The meeting agenda includes a number of topics, including coordination among Arab central banks and monetary institutions.
