CAIRO - 11 August 2017: The German Embassy in Cairo and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on Friday offered their condolences over the victims of the train collision in Alexandria.
In a statement, the German embassy said it shares the grief of the victims' families and wishes the injured a speed recovery.
In a separated statement issued by the Ukrainian Embassy in Cairo, Klimkin also expressed condolences to the families of the victims.
Earlier, an Alexandria-bound train coming from Cairo crashed into another one while being on the way from Port Said to Alexandria, leaving 40 dead and 133 injured.
