CAIRO - 8 July 2017: Director General of Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) Jamal Al Suwaidi on Saturday said Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has managed to confront all evil powers, prioritize Egypt's interests, and succeed in changing his country's relations with the world.

In an interview with Al Massaa newspaper of Egypt, Suwaidi said that the June 30 Revolution saved the Arab world from "partition and fragmentation plots".

He hailed Egypt's relations with the Gulf states, saying they have ushered a stage of strategic partnership.

Reciprocal visits and continuous contacts between Sisi and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan were cited by the ECSSR chief in promoting joint Arab action and protecting the Arab national security.

He stressed that Egypt and the UAE do utmost to support the pillars of joint Arab action to face the current challenges that threaten the peoples of the region, especially terrorism.

He urged continuing the strong collective stance against Qatar, reiterating that that putting an end to the current dispute with Doha will only be achieved by applying the Arab requirements.
