Sawiris’ remark on MB as ‘terrorist’ widely circulated

CAIRO – 29 June 2017: A quote by business tycoon Naguib Sawiris on that the Muslims Brotherhood is a “terrorist organization” regardless of the U.S. label of the group was circulated on Twitter after Fox Business anchor Maria Bariromo tweeted his Thursday statement.

Bariromo asked the Egyptian businessman on her show, Mornings with Maria,
whether U.S. President Donald Trump should desginated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, to which he responded: “It doesn’t matter because they are a terrorist organization.”

“If you wanna call them this, call them. What you need to do is treat them like a terror organization. If you don’t wanna call them for political reasons because you don’t wanna drive them to become more extreme, because you’re scared from them, don’t call them [terrorist]. But they are,” Sawiris said.

“You need to read the history the source of all terror orgs the main tube out of which all these people came out is the muslim brotherhood… they hate us for no reason,” he added.
