According to a statement of her ministry on Thursday, Makram said that the awareness activities are part of the “Survival Ships” initiative that aims at reaching out to target groups nationwide and motivating and encouraging young people to improve their lives by identifying their skills and helping to promote them through training programs as well as creating more job opportunities for them and providing them with safe alternatives other than to be illegal migrants.

Meanwhile, Assistant of the minister for institutional development and Egyptian expats Saber Suleiman said that there will be electronic campaigns that are part of the ministry's plan for digital transformation in order to cope with the measures of social distancing to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
